Simone

Ahh Simone I love you I do. No, I haven't dumped James and fallen in love with a gurl, Simone is the name of my b.e.a.utiful new shoes. The glove shoe trend has come upon us with a bang and everyone from ASOS to Topshop & Mango have been tempting us for the past few months with these granny style chunky heeled beauties. But from the moment I laid my eyes on Simone at a press day at work a while back I knew i'd have to stay true and hold out for her. Sure enough a few weeks back there she was staring back at me in the new in section and it's been true love ever since. Paired here with my ultimate go-to jean of the moment the cropped kick flare, a leopard print top and my pink duster, this was the perfect outfit for mooching around Brick Lane and eating too much food last weekend with my best gurl.

Hope you've had the best valentines weekend.

Snooze

Jacket - Zara, Skirt - Mango, Top - ASOS, Boots - ASOS, Scarf - ASOS

Ever have those days where you've pressed snooze one too many times and stared into your wardrobe wondering why the clothes gods are so mean and you have absolutely nothing to wear? This seems to happen to me A LOT. Let me be honest.. I'm constantly shopping, I'm on first name terms with my DPD delivery guy and I've started ordering things to work so my neighbours don't think I'm 1. completely cray or 2. a recent lottery jackpot winner (i'm neither, just so ya know). I seem to wear things once or twice then feel like I need a whole new wardrobe all over again. Having my usual stare into my ever expanding wardrobe last week, I started pulling out old favourites and this was the result. A pretty simple outfit, the denim jacket is hardly revolutionary, and I've definitely had my money's worth out of this suede skirt, but paired together with a blush pink roll neck, my ultimate go to colour at the moment, my fave leopard print boots and a starry neckerchief, it seemed to work pretty well. I think I'll be diving into the back of my wardrobe more often!
